  I had a very positive experience during my initial visit to this salon two weeks ago, which is why I chose to return for a pedicure and fill-in ahead of Easter. On my first visit, despite the salon being busy, John, the owner, was welcoming and ensured I was assisted promptly. That level of efficiency and customer care made a great impression. Unfortunately, my most recent visit did not reflect the same standard. Although I was greeted warmly upon arrival and seated without a wait, the overall experience quickly declined. My pedicure, performed by V, was excellent because she demonstrated professionalism, strong customer service, and attention to detail. I truly appreciated her efforts and demeanor throughout my service. However, the issues arose when I requested a specific nail design. I provided a reference photo, but after it was shown to multiple technicians, no one was willing or able to complete it. While I understand that not all designs may be feasible, the situation was handled in a way that felt dismissive and uncoordinated. The manager on duty appeared disengaged and, at times, visibly frustrated. Her presentation and demeanor did not reflect a professional standard expected in a customer-facing leadership role. After a period of waiting, another technician offered to complete my service. Unfortunately, the experience was uncomfortable and rushed. The technician was rough during the process, particularly around my cuticles, and her overall demeanor lacked courtesy. My nail shape was altered, and the quality of the service did not meet expectations. I expressed my concerns, and V stepped in to assist further. She remained kind and attempted to improve the outcome, which I appreciated. However, I also observed unprofessional behavior from management, including visible frustration, lack of communication, and dismissive gestures. At one point, the atmosphere became uncomfortable, with music being turned off while services were still ongoing and staff appearing eager to close despite it being business hours. Additionally, I spent approximately four hours in the salon for services that should not have taken nearly as long, especially given the limited number of customers present. I also observed other customers being turned away or restricted in the services they could receive, which further contributed to the impression of disorganization and poor customer management. While my first visit left me impressed, this experience was disappointing and ultimately unsatisfactory. It is clear that there are inconsistencies in service quality and professionalism, particularly among leadership staff (the Wednesday Adams lady and the mean lady in the picture). I believe the business would benefit from stronger management practices and a renewed focus on customer service standards. Regrettably, due to this experience, I do not plan to return.

  The nail polish is coming off and I asked them to fix it for me. I was told that there are no guarantees after five days. Which I didn't know. And then today just makes day 6. You tell me that you couldn't make a small exception to make a customer happy. I just wanted them to polish the two that the nail polish had come off of. That's sad!!!!

  The picture on the left is what I wanted. The picture on the right is what it ended up looking like. I told the guy several times that I wanted stiletto and he cut it into a coffin shave and then proceeded to make it a coffin shape even though I specifically stated that I wanted stiletto. He then went in with the acrylic powder. Completely messed it up. I said something another lady started doing my nails and she started messing up. She was rushing the entire time. When we finally went to check out, I asked her I said hey you guys messed up my nails completely and all she said she could do was $10 off. She said she was the manager which she was not. And then she was being very rude at the end. She told us that as soon as we paid, We were no longer welcome back. So if I were y’all, I would go to nail studio over by Harris Teeter on Concord Parkway instead of them because they have no idea what they’re doing when it comes to certain types of nails.

  Let me begin by saying I am a licensed nail technician myself. I have close friends that are Vietnamese and speak very fluently. I debated a lot before I decided to make this review. I also understand that I came in late requesting assistance and was prepared to possibly be told they could not do both services. I gave 2 stars for the kindness and efforts that the 2 staff provided to me even though I came in late requesting services. I also left both of them a tip as well which brought my total to $160. Was it perfect and what I am use too, no but they did their best. The other staff on the other had, some standing around doing nothing decided to speak in Vietnamese to each other basically not wanting to provide services and staring/peeping over looking at me. With all due respect I comprehend the language you speak and would like to say be very careful with how you speak in front of your customers. If you don’t want to provide services just say that and be professional. The only reason I would recommend this shop is for the few polite staff that work there. And just a tip, it is not recommended that you use the same cuticle nippers on your fingernails and toenails without throughly sanitizing first because it increases the risk of spreading bacteria and fungi.

  Update, 5 months from previous review. I had to finish off the gift card balance so I popped in for a pedi. Today's visit was redemption ~much better. My service didn't feel rushed and my polish looks evenly applied lol. I guess it really depends on who they stick you with. My husband keeps buying me gift cards for this place ~its definitely the thought that counts ~but each time I go it gets worse! 21 minutes from start to finish for a pedicure! It could not be more obvious that he was rushing. The polish was not applied evenly on my big toes and both look dumb lol. This place has gone down hill from when I started going years ago. Its a waste of money. Beware!
